Since 2008, when my first book on eco behavior was published, I’ve been invited to share my journey with live audiences. Interacting with the public, weaving data and personal experience, is a great way to understand how communities and organizations face the intricacies of our transition towards a sustainable future. We navigate in a world of complexity but also of great opportunity and at every event as a speaker I learn from others and I share as much vulnerability as I do knowledge, on how we relate to our Planet’s resources and to technologies.
What’s Progress? – TEDx Bologna
As citizens of the world we are witnesses to both great progress and unsustainability. A trip in Myanmar to meet the Moken, sea gypsies, was a source of inspiration to reflect on what the meaning of progress is in today’s world.
Model UN Global Week of Action
Cristina was invited by youth leaders of Model UN to speak on June 8th 2021 during the 2021 Global Week of Action. The purpose of her session Actions and attitudes on climate change was to actively engage and empower students.
Vanity Fair Green
On April 15th 2021, during the digital event Vanity Fair Green – from challenge to change, open to everyone and dedicated to action: what we can all do, today, to become sustainable – Cristina partecipated with a talk on the 2030 Agenda.
2030 Agenda: A map to navigate the present
Commissioned by Librì Progetti Educativi and a2a, Cristina created and hosted a series of 10 webinars on the 2030 Agenda for teachers of all grade levels between November 2020 and January 2021. The participants feedback at the end of the program confirmed that the series offered the theoretical and practical tools to integrate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in their academic programs.
ESG Week 2020
In September 2020, during Sircle and Rödl & Partner’s ESG Week, Cristina was interviewed as an expert on sustainability and future proof development.
Icon Design Talks 2019
During the Milan Design Week, Cristina was invited to participate in the panel: Biblioteca degli Alberi: Poetry, Planet and Repair – Designing Green Spaces for the 21st Century, organized by Aesop during Icon Design Talks 2019 at Fondazione Riccardo Catella on April 9th. Alongside her on the panel were Carlo Ratti; Marcus Fairs of Dezeen; Jana Crepon of Inside Outside Design; Tom Piper and Yibo Xu of Stefano Boeri Architetti.

Vanity Fair Italia invited Cristina to hold a lesson on eco-behaviour on April 9th in the Vanity Fair Social Garden, staged in Via Tortona during the Milano Design Week.
